Mission: The mission of TeenSpeak Online is to make teenagers more aware of the world around them, to provide a professional and reputable venue for teenagers to have their opinions published on the world wide web, and to foster a sense of international cooperation and understanding. Our staff writers work together to write their editorials, and are proud of their work. TeenSpeak Online was founded by teenagers, is run by teenagers, and is for teenagers. TeenSpeak Online publishes editorials written by our certified staff members. Potential staff members undergo a thorough evaluation and application process, and are selected based on their abilities as a youth journalist. To apply, visit our Join Us! page. TeenSpeak Online will not tolerate any racial, ethnic, gender-based, religious, or other potentially offensive content under any circumstances. We do not tolerate plagiarism under any circumstances, and require all of our staff members' work to be certified as original. All content on TeenSpeak Online will undergo rigorous review by our editorial board before publishing. TeenSpeak Online is a venue for teenagers to express their opinions, however, several restrictions apply. No racial, ethnic, gender-based, religious, or other potentially offensive content will be allowed under any circumstances. TeenSpeak Online uses freely available photographs as posted on the world wide web. Such content is checked so that it is not in violation of any known copyright laws. However, if you would like your picture removed from TeenSpeak Online, you may request to do so by Contacting Us. TeenSpeak Online has several partner organizations to aid in our mission and goals. We do not, however, allow any conflicts of interests to interfere with our editorials, nor do we have any contractual obligations to any individuals or entities whatsoever. TeenSpeak Online encourages all of our staff writers to use multiple sources when writing an editorial. The purpose of this is twofold. First, to make sure that all information is accurate and credible, and second, to provide a factual backing for the opinion they are supporting.
